Intermediate class is designed for those owners and dogs who have passed our basic class (or equivalent positive reinforcement class) and who would like to continue their training towards working with their dogs “off-lead”.

Intermediate class runs for one hour a week for 7 weeks. Classes are held on Wednesday nights at Parafield Gardens High School Gymnasium, Shepherdson Rd, Parafield Gardens.

Classes are small, therefore bookings are essential.

Passing an Intermediate Class, your dog should be able to:

• Close loose-lead walking (working toward off-lead)
• Stand for Handling
• Stay for one minute at the end of a lead
• Leave it from an open hand and the ground
• Learn appropriate car etiquette
• Recall from a long lead (working toward off-lead)
• Pass another dog in the street showing minimal distraction.
• Go to Mat from 2 metres away drop and stay until cued to move
• At least 4 other optional exercises
